There are many ways to style GCD costuming and each tribe has their own unique aesthetic, however there is a ‘classic GCD tribal look’ that is adopted by many. Aysha’s tribal aesthetic draws from Nina’s costuming style at Temple Rain Dance.
The classic Temple Rain ‘Tribal’ look for costuming includes:
Pantaloons (cotton pants)
25 yard Indian Cotton Skirt
Black top (choli, temple top, long sleeve)
Hazari, coin or tassel belt
Embroidered bra
Head wrap
Hair garden and/or adornments
Layers of jewellery - metal, beads, shells. -
Many costume items such as 25 yard Indian cotton skirts can be purchased online.
For bespoke Tribal Bellydance costuming you can custom order from Nina at Temple Goddess Bazaar.

Yes, beginner classes are suitable for all levels of experience. Classes are not about perfection but about having fun and dancing to the level and expression of your own body. Learning a new skill can take time but dancing is fun at all stages of ‘technique’.
-
Global Caravan Dance is for every ‘body’. Dance is for everyone and movement is beautiful for all shapes and sizes.
-
Currently no classes are available for children.
