ABOUT AYSHA ANJULI
Global Caravan Dance Teacher & Artist
Aysha is a passionate dancer and teacher of Global Caravan Dance, known for the heart, grace, and creativity she brings to both her dancing and her community. Her style weaves together a love of movement, nature, and intentional beauty.
Aysha has spent years dancing closely with Australian Master Teacher Nina Martinez, refining her technique and being inspired by Nina’s soulful, empowering, creative, and playful way of teaching. That influence shapes Aysha’s own teaching style which is encouraging, embodied, and full of joy.
As a teacher, Aysha loves creating space for women to take time to move their bodies, and connect with themselves, and each other - to feel beautiful and empowered in their own uniqueness!
‘Dance is a powerful way to celebrate being alive—it’s wonderful to share, and I feel grateful every time I see someone else light up with this joy.’
For Aysha, Global Caravan Dance is a muse for life. She’s drawn to the ritual of it, the way repetition settles into the body, and how it becomes a kind of moving meditation. She especially loves dancing in a circle, where dancers connect, lead, and follow in a rhythm that feels ancient and alive.
Aysha loves the art of adornment and getting dressed for dance is a cherished ritual - layering fabrics, textures, jewellery, flowers - as a way to honour the body, step into ‘dance’, and express herself. She loves how costume elevates the visual experience of coming together to dance - we transport each other to ‘another world’ in the moment - a colourful tapestry of movement.
